No...not at all! Peanut is actually our "self patting" cat and is wonderfully friendly. I think she was just having one of those early morning pouts. When we were kids my Mom would get us out of a funky mood by saying "Why don't you go out in the garden and eat some worms?" Which sounded so silly that it would make us laugh! Maybe that's what Peanut was doing...looking for worms.
Your post has given me a grin, because its been a long time since I heard that saying! My cat does a lot of that same thing, and now I'm also wondering if that's what she's doing?

Peanut looks exactly like our Miss Sugar who was dumped with us. That is not her happy face though lol.
