The gardens look a little more "wild and woolly" this time of year. The bee balm and the cone flower are rampant....you can hardly see the cherry tree in there! I know I should put some order in my little piece of Heaven, but I really like the "wildness"! It feels like this is what God intended....let the birds have the seed heads in the Fall and let them spread the flowers where they may.....Mother Nature at her best. I just don't have the heart to pull up those volunteer plants that come up in the Spring...they fight hard for their place in the rich soil....why should I pull them up? Hence my "wild" flowers....I love them!
I guess I'm a little like that, myself....I fought hard to become"me"......a little "wild".

Kindred Spirit Duncan aka Mr Attitude....it's good being King. Doesn't he have quite the look? He was the last ram lamb born this year, but he certainly isn't afraid to let the girls know he's ready, willing and able....for now he just struts his stuff!
This weekend went by way too fast....shouldn't we have three day weekends? All in favor....?
I've been lazy about getting out and getting pictures...it was just too hot this weekend. Tomorrow is supposed to be our warmest day so far this summer.....kind of nice after all of the rain we had for most of June and July! I have to admit...I prefer sunny, 70-75 degrees with a nice breeze! I'm looking forward to Fall...you know, Indian Summer! It's the best! Well....here are a few pictures...I promise to be better this week! For now....have a great week everyone!
Trying to get some pickles and jams done before summer is over!! Right now there is more clutter in the cabinet than "goodies". I did manage to get a few jars of blackberry jam done on Sunday....with many more berries still waiting!

Geese out for a stroll...heading to the wading pool.

Couldn't resist...the setting was just too perfect not to use THAT line!
